Capital Cooking is proud to be featured on America’s Culinary Cup, a new culinary competition that brings together an invitation-only group of highly accomplished chefs, including Michelin-starred and James Beard-nominated talent.

While the stage is professional, the principles behind it—precision, control, and consistency—are the same ones that define how people cook at home.

A Competition Designed Around Craft

Premiering on March 4, 2026, America’s Culinary Cup evaluates chefs across ten core “Culinary Commandments”, including meat, vegetables, sauces, dessert, innovation, and culinary science.

The format is intentionally analytical, with scoring designed to reflect the level of precision required in professional kitchens. Judges including Padma Lakshmi, Michael Cimarusti, and Wylie Dufresne, bring a depth of experience that reinforces that standard… and a $1 million prize sweetens the pot.

Professional Capability, Adapted for Everyday Use

In a competition environment, equipment must perform without hesitation. In the home, the expectation is similar, just applied differently.

Capital Cooking ranges are built with professional-level performance at their core, including:

  • Powerful, responsive burners
  • Consistent heat across cooking surfaces
  • The ability to move seamlessly between techniques

What changes is the context. These capabilities are designed to feel intuitive and usable in a home kitchen, whether preparing a quick weeknight meal or something more involved.

Designed to Live in the Home

Beyond performance, Capital ranges are designed with the home in mind.

That means:

  • Configurations that adapt to different kitchen layouts
  • Finishes and color options that complement interior design
  • A balance between presence and integration

The result is a range that carries the capability of a professional kitchen, without feeling out of place in a residential space.

Professional-Grade Residential Equipment

America’s Culinary Cup highlights what’s possible at the highest level of cooking. Capital Cooking is built on the idea that those same standards should be accessible beyond the professional kitchen.
